We are able to deliver MoneyForce briefings for existing personnel and dependants at military units across the UK including Northern Ireland. The sessions are approximately one hour long and cover general money issues, such as budgeting, debt, insurance, pensions and savings. There is also an opportunity for the group to ask questions.
Up to four briefings can be delivered in a day, based on availability of your Service personnel and dependants, all of whom can be briefed as discreet (rank) groups or as a mixed audience.
However, to make this a worthwhile exercise we need reassurance from you that at least 20 personnel will be able to attend a single briefing. (We are only a small team!)
The briefings can be arranged directly with the MoneyForce team – email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For those who support military personnel and their families, you can let them know about MoneyForce by displaying our posters and flyers. The graphics have been developed to support each of the Services so you can choose the relevant one for your audience.
The topics available include borrowing, pensions, deployment, debt and many more.
You can print them in A4 or A3, but please print them in colour for maximum effect. You can download them here.

Standard Life Charitable Trust
Standard Life Charitable Trust (SLCT) is an independent charity established by Standard Life in 2009. The Trust aims to support initiatives and programmes that make lasting and sustainable changes. It wants to help prevent problems arising as well as to support people already experiencing hardship. The Trust funded the MoneyForce project until 2016 and we thank them for their support.
The Royal British Legion
The Legion is the UK's leading Service charity and supports the whole Armed Forces family - serving, veterans and their families. Management of the MoneyForce project, including this website, is provided by the Legion. The Legion has taken over funding the programme from Standard Life Charitable Trust.
Ministry of Defence
The Ministry has recognised that the mobility and overseas deployment of Armed Forces personnel can affect credit ratings and impede access to financial services and products. In addition, the institutional nature of Armed Forces life can lead many to have a poor understanding of financial concerns and pressures. The Ministry is supporting the MoneyForce project in the hope of addressing these issues and to allow Service personnel to take control of their finances whether in Service or when they return to Civvy Street.
